Estamos en una de las locaciones más hermosas que hemos visitado. Casa Los Ángeles en el pueblo mágico de Malinalco.
ESTAMOS AQUÍ PARA SER ORGANIZADORES Y CO-ANFITRIONES EN la boda de Karla y Markus. KARLA ES DE MÉXICO Y DESDE EL PRINCIPIO, NOS HAN EXPRESADO SU DESEO DE AGASAJAR A SUS FAMILIARES CON UN RECORRIDO POR LAS COSTUMBRES MEXICANAS, INCORPORANDO TRADICIONES Y CONSIDERANDO LOS GUSTOS TANTO DE MEXICANOS COMO DE AUSTRIACOS. Markus ES de Austria Y Para esta ocasión, han venido desde allá su familia y amigos más cercanos. Todos están hospedados aquí desde ayer.
La celebración ya comenzó. Ayer nuestro trabajo consistió en ofrecer un delicioso festín, cócteles y cervezas para que los huéspedes pasarán el día disfrutando de las albercas y los bellísimos jardines.
Desde ayer también, comenzaron a llegar los proveedores, así que hoy muy temprano, llegamos a continuar con el montaje. Recorriendo el venue desde la entrada, primero encontramos una estación de bienvenida donde los invitados podrán tomar una sombrilla, un sombrero, un pequeño y colorido Ojo de Dios (artesanía mexicana) de obsequio y un listón para participar en la ceremonia simbólica. Más adelante, un espacio para el cóctel de bienvenida y un hermoso montaje que remata en un “moon gate” de flores, para la ceremonia. Finalmente, la carpa, lista para el banquete y la fiesta, bellamente decorada con el estilo colorido que caracteriza esta boda y refleja la personalidad de Karla & Markus. A los costados, una barra de cocteles y una de cervezas Hércules.
Karla & Markus son una pareja como pocas. Desde que los conocí, supe que hacían un gran equipo. Con muchas cosas en común, como el amor a los gatos y a los road trips, y otras donde sus personalidades se complementan. Es una pareja con la que disfruté mucho trabajar porque comparto mucho su visión de la boda que buscaban. Algo sin despilfarro, con mucho cuidado a los detalles y que representara lo que son ellos como personas y como pareja.
Por fin, van llegando los invitados. Un gran “Ojo de Dios” les señala la entrada. En la estación hay una explicación del significado de los Ojos de Dios en nuestras culturas y una traductora súper amable recibe a la gente y les explica y ofrece los objetos de cortesía.
En el cóctel todos se saludan y se preparan para recibir a los novios.
La ceremonia da comienzo con la llegada de Karla que se ve hermosa y feliz. Su vestido colorido la hace ver aún más linda y todos volteamos a ver a Markus que está que se le sale el amor por los ojos.
La experiencia es única, la maestra de ceremonias la ha diseñado para simbolizar y representar ritualmente lo que a los novios les resuena más con su lado espiritual.
Varias acciones ocurren. Se transplanta un árbol, se dan sus votos, todos lloramos obvio, finalmente se colocan listones en un árbol, representando los buenos deseos de todos los invitados. Rodeados de la naturaleza, es un momento lleno de belleza y significado.
Después de muchos aplausos y lágrimas de alegría, pasamos a la carpa para el banquete.
Los invitados son recibidos con un ballet folklórico mexicano que ofrece una muestra de los bailes típicos y finaliza con un ritual prehispánico. Se puede ver por todas partes, gestos de admiración por ver la riqueza cultural de México. Riqueza que se refleja también en el diseño del banquete que corrió por cuenta de Condimento, combinando gastronomía mexicana con toques austriacos.
Después de la comida, para continuar con la presentación que hemos preparado, la barra ofrece una serie de cócteles con destilados mexicanos como mezcal, pox y raicilla.
Y ahora sí, a bailar se ha dicho. DJ Baxter se hace presente y prende la fiesta sin tregua hasta el final de la noche.
Al final, quedan miles de recuerdos felices y emotivos de todos los invitados, y lo más importante, los recuerdos de Karla y de Markus de aquél día que decidieron comenzar una nueva etapa de sus vidas juntos. Para nosotros, fue un fin de semana de mucha satisfacción. Ver tanta belleza desenvolverse, ver la personalidad de los novios reflejarse en todos los detalles, colores y espíritu sembrados en todas partes. Por suerte, nuestros nuevos amigos de Buen Ojo hicieron estas fotos increíbles que ahora comparto con ustedes y que plasman perfecto el momento que vivimos. Y lo más importante para mi, ver a los novios felices juntos compartiendo esos instantes con sus seres queridos que convergen aquí para abrazarlos y celebrar este día francamente inolvidable.
Gracias a Karla & Markus por dejarnos ser parte de ese momento de sus vidas y les deseamos lo mejor para su vida juntos, sin duda lo merecen.

I will paint you a picture.
I open my eyes and see one of the most beautiful locations that we have visited, Casa Los Ángeles, in the magical town of Malinalco.
We are here to celebrate the wedding of Karla and Markus. She is Mexican and he is Austrian, together they form a unique couple with many things in common, such as the love of cats and road trips, and other things in which their personalities complement each other.
For this special occasion, the closest family and friends came from Austria, Mexico and other parts of the world. Everyone is staying in this wonderful place.
The celebration begins.
Yesterday our job was to cater a delicious feast, we gave cocktails and beers so that the guests could spend the day enjoying the pools and the beautiful gardens.
Also yesterday the suppliers arrived, so that today, very early, we continued staging
Now, I walk the venue from the entrance: first I find a welcome station where the guests can take an umbrella, a hat, a small and colorful Ojo de Dios (Mexican handicraft), and a ribbon in order to participate in the symbolic ceremony. Further on, I observe a space for the welcome cocktail and a beautiful set up that ends in a “moon gate” of flowers for the ceremony. Finally, my eyes meet the tent, ready for the banquet and the party, beautifully decorated in the colorful style that characterizes this wedding, and reflects the personality of Karla & Markus. On the sides, there is a bar of cocktails and one of Hercules beers.
Karla & Markus are a couple that I enjoyed working with because I share a lot of their vision of the wedding that they were looking for. Something without waste, with great care to details, a wedding that represents what they are as individuals and as a couple.
The guests begin to arrive. A large “Ojo de Dios” points to the entrance. In the station, there is an explanation of its meaning in our cultures. A very friendly translator receives the people, explaining and offering the free objects.
Everyone at the cocktail party says hello and prepares to receive the bride and groom.
The ceremony begins with the arrival of Karla... she looks beautiful and happy. Her colorful dress makes her look even more beautiful, and we all turn to see Markus: the deep love that he has overflows through his eyes.
The ceremony is unique. The master of ceremonies designed it in a ritual manner to symbolize and represent that which resonates more with the spiritual side of the couple.
Several actions take place: a tree is transplanted, the bride and groom give their vows, we all cry obviously. At the end, ribbons are placed on a tree, representing the good wishes of all the guests. Surrounded by nature, it is a fascinating moment, full of beauty and meaning.
After much applause and tears of joy, we went to the tent for the banquet.
A Mexican folkloric ballet receives the guests offering a sample of the typical dances, energy, music and finish with a pre-Hispanic ritual. The guests are very surprised seeing the cultural wealth of Mexico. Wealth that is also reflected in the banquet design that was operated by Condimento, combining Mexican cuisine with Austrian touches.
After lunch, to continue with the presentation that we have prepared, the bar offers a series of cocktails with Mexican distillates such as mezcal, pox, and raicilla.
And now, yes, let’s dance! DJ Baxter is present and starts the nonstop party until the end of the night.
Finally, there are thousands of happy and emotional memories of all the guests... and most importantly, the memories of Karla and Markus of this day… when they decided to start a new stage of their lives together. For us, it was a weekend of great satisfaction. To see so much beauty unfold, to see the personality of the couple reflected in all the details, colors, and spirit sown everywhere. By luck, our new friends from Buen Ojo made these incredible photos that I, now, share with you, and that show perfectly the moment that we lived.
And the most important thing for me: to see the couple happy, together, joyful, sharing these moments with their loved ones, who came here to embrace them and celebrate this frankly unforgettable day.
