¿Alguna vez habían escuchado sobre el género de música “Happy Punk”? Tal vez si nacieron después de 1990, o si son de Pop Punk, que es muy parecido.
La boda fue en la Hacienda Caltengo, en Hidalgo. Donde la decoración cumpliría con el romanticismo del evento, pero no dejaría de ser punk. Pamela e Iván han sido de los pocos novios que se han atrevido a meter toques de negro en su boda. ¡Y les quedó increíble!
Como sería de esperarse en una boda hipster, su perrito tuvo que acompañarlos en el evento y las fotos.
De la música, ni hablar. El pop, punk y rock, sonaron. Pero sin duda, uno de los momentos más emotivos de la boda, fue cuando una amiga cercana se paró cantar cuando Pamela bailó con su papá. Se veían felices, llorando, disfrutando y compartiendo ese increíble día.
Fue una boda súper bonita, hipster y claro, rockera. Me fascino poder ver el empeño que le ponen a las cosas y a cuidar el detalle. Pude ver lo orgullosos que estaban sus papás por el esfuerzo que pusieron en armar su boda, pero más que todo, la emoción de ver la amistad que los une y los hace ser una pareja muy happy… ¡y además punk!
Hablando de géneros musicales no soy ninguna experta, pero si me remontan a los noventas, soy más de Savage Garden y Ace of Base. Por eso cuando conocí a Pamela e Iván, fue la primera vez que escuché del “Happy Punk”. Y de ahí pueden imaginarse el tipo de divertida que nos íbamos a dar en este evento.
Quiero contarles sobre Pamela e Iván porque son de esas parejas super cool que se les nota a leguas que están hechos el uno para el otro. Ella trabaja en una revista y él es un emprendedor de una bodega de cervezas artesanales de todo el mundo. No se puede mejor match: son de esas parejas auténticas, relajadas y muy divertidas.
Se conocieron desde que iban en prepa y cuenta Iván que desde entonces sabía que algún día se casaría con Pamela. Es increíble cuando conoces esas relaciones donde se ve que son amigos antes que pareja ¡y que estaban destinados a estar juntos! Me dio tanto gusto verlos juntos, cumpliendo con la profecía de Iván. Son de esas parejas que al conocerlos entendí de inmediato por qué están juntos y lo divertido que será trabajar con ellos.

You can totally tell when the bride and groom were involved in every process of the planning of their wedding, that they cared for every detail so that their day would be unforgettable not only for the both of them, but for the people they were going to share it with. This is why I want to tell you about my experience with the happiest and punkest couple I’ve ever worked with.
And for the music… what can I say? It was too much fun. The guests danced to the pop, punk and rock music. But one of the most beautiful moments of the night was when a close friends of theirs stood up to sing the song for their first dance as husband and wife. They looked radiantly happy, enjoying every second of this happy day.

I’m not an expert when it comes to music genres, but if you take me back to the nineties, I’m more of a Savage Garden and Ace of Base kind of gal. They met in high school and Iván says that he knew since then that he would marry Pamela. And it’s amazing when you meet these people that have a friendship before being a couple and that they were meant to end up together! I felt so happy seeing them together, planning the happiest day of their lives, making true Ivan’s bet from high school. I knew right away that working with them would be a lot of fun.

Pamela and Iván are one of the very few couples that have dared to put black details at their wedding, and it totally worked! The result was great. And as one was to expect at any hipster wedding, their beautiful dog took part in the pictures and ceremony.
I want to tell you about Pamela and Iván because they are one of those super cool couples that are made for one another. She works at a magazine and he is an entrepreneur at a local craft brew store that carries beers from all over the world. You cannot think of a better match. They are one of those genuine, laid back and fun couples.
